WHAT MAKES US, US
Children are naturally curious and smart. All of our books include a list of questions to ask your smart cookie. These questions allow you to discuss characters, plots, and have more in-depth conversations. Celebrate correct answers and when your smart cookie isn't sure of the answers, let them know it's okay. Learning is fun! Together, go back to the book to find the answers. Your young reader can also create questions to ask you.
When you see words in bold, that means they are challenge words or, as we like to think, mind candy! No cavities come with this sugar. Encourage your young reader by asking them what they believe the words mean, praise them for their definitions, give them the meanings, and have them try using the words in their own sentences or stories.
We are proud to print our books right here in the United States (home for us) to help support local businesses and our economy. Isn't that sweet? All of our books are recyclable (not that you would ever part with our books). We need to keep our Earth green - It's the only one we've got!
